I've been Web programming for almost 10 year now. I began in High School, where I developed database-driven Web applications for a handful of Internet start-ups in the 90s. Fascinated by the emergence of the World Wide Web and it's potential applications, I studied C, C++, and Pascal in High School.
When I entered college, I learned PHP and started my own Web Development firm, which at it's height, employed over 4 freelance artists, developers, and photographers. I developed several online storefronts and thus became quite proficient in the realm of E-Commerce. One particular project entailed developing an intricate inventory management system communicating between a bricks-and-mortar store, and an online storefront.
I went to the University of Vermont, where I studied Computer Science more closely. There I was introduced to Object Oriented (OO) development, especially as it pertains to the Java platform. I intend on going back to graduate school in the coming years, where I will focus on Enterprise Computing.
